Up Close With The Upcoming Air Jordan 1 “Black Toe” For Women

The Air Jordan 1 has become a focal point of the Jumpman’s women’s offerings as of late via collaborations with Aleali May and clean-in line colorways, and now AJ1-loving ladies are getting blessed yet again, as the OG “Black Toe” is set to release in a satin-equipped makeup. Following in the footsteps of last year’s satin “Shattered Backboard” 1s, these altered classics fuse an instantly recognizable palette with a premium construction. Glossy red fabric overlays appear on the heel and collar, while the rest of the shoe’s black and white panels are dressed in a supple leather. A finishing touch of detail is then provided by a jeweled metal ball-and-wings logo on the collar in place of the normal printed version. These reworked high-tops are scheduled to release in August for $160 USD, so get a first look — and a comparison with a normal “Black Toe” — below while you wait for their arrival at retailers. If you’re looking for more women’s footwear from Jordan Brand, be sure to check out the Jordan Women’s Summer 2019 retro lineup as well.
