The Nike Air Max Tailwind IV Emerges In Black And Silver

The Nike Air Max Tailwind IV is set to follow in the footsteps of other revitalized ’90s Air Max silhouettes like the Air Max 98 and Air Max 2 Light this summer as it’ll be releasing in a wide swath of colorways, one of which is this simple-yet-effective combo of black and silver. The shoe’s mesh base and leather overlays are both done up in black, while silver tones are used mostly to provide accents, appearing on the midfoot’s plastic overlays and providing trim around the upper’s layers as well. Small touches of Nike branding are then present on the heel, toebox, lateral collar, and tongue. Down below, this Tailwind continues its murky stylings with a black midsole that also offers shimmering silver accents above the Air Max cushioning units. The black outsole is then adorned with a light blue badge, a uniform Tailwind detail much like an orange heel badge is standard attire for the Air Max Plus.
