Commonwealth And Vans Vault Embark Upon First Collaboration With Focus On Subtlety

It’s surprising to learn that Commonwealth, a prized gem of a retail spot known for its elegant displays and curation, has never had a collaboration with Vans before. This May 18th, they’re changing all that with a two-piece capsule with the casual skate brand’s Vault front, delivering the Slip-On and Era in two astonishingly attractive colorways of Desert Sage and Lark Tan. With base colorways on these iconic models set, Commonwealth then adds empowering messages on each shoe, embossing the midsoles with “Every Generation Needs A New Revolution” and “People Everywhere Are Created Equal.” Additional details include a bordered stripe of checkerboard, discreet Commonwealth branding, and – on the Era – waxed laces and smaller eyelets. Both will be available exclusively on Commonwealth on May 18th for $120 per silhouette.
