Jordan Brand has demonstrated a propensity to use alternate materials on the AJ1 Mid as of late and that’s continued here, as the vibrant orange upper is split between breezy mesh underlays and classic smooth leather overlays. Navy blue trim and accents on the collar, tongue, flap, and midfoot Swoosh then add just enough elegance and make the shoe look ever so slightly like a lightened-up, summer-ized version of the Air Jordan 1 “Letterman.” The look is then completed by a simple sail midsole and navy blue outsole.
