Before the all-consuming fervor of the NBA Finals surrounds the Golden State Warriors, Steph Curry is taking a moment to thank the loyal fans that reside in the Dubs’ hometown of Oakland with a new UA Curry 6 “Thank You, Oakland.” Chef Curry has been in the Bay Area for a full decade and constantly draws from the area’s unbreakable spirit, unfailing drive, and boundless determination, so these Curry 6s make no bones about what provides their inspiration, splashing a bold yellow “OAKLAND” hit across the entirety of their black HOVR-equipped midsole. The stark black knit upper is then accented by further pops of yellow on the heel/lacing system, and the look is completed by a grey outsole with Steph’s autograph and signature “I Can Do All Things” motif emblazoned in yellow as well. O-Town natives can pick up a pair now at the SC30 pop-up shop located in downtown Oakland, while fans in the rest of the country will be able to nab a pair via the retailers listed below on May 31st for $130 USD.
