The Polar Skate Co. x Nike SB Air Trainer 1 Releases On June 10th

Since going quiet many years ago, the Nike SB Air Trainer 1 has slowly begun to fade from memory, though with the brand’s penchant for reviving classic silhouettes from the dead, it’s no surprise to see a return to the silhouette as it joins 2019 in the form of a Polar Skate Co. collaboration. Subtle in their approach, the Swedish Skateboarding brand makes up a palette of neutral whites and blacks accented by a deep, saturated blue. Top lines, toe boxes, and tongues stick to the much lighter shade while darkened suede overlays add a bit of texture in tandem. Straps don a cool tone branding hit — spelling out “POLAR” — while the backdrop for the swoosh lies in compliment. Gum bottoms sweeten the deal with a bit of classic lifestyle elements, paving the way quite perfectly for many more iterations in the future. Grab a detailed look at the forthcoming model below and be sure to stay tuned for their release at select retailers.
