Black and Yellow are no ordinary color compliments as the ever-important Wu Tang Clan and various legendary colorways have placed the two tones in leagues of their own, with the overarching sneaker culture borrowing quite often from its halls. Reaching acclaim through a gorgeous pair of Shinedown PEs, the official set of the Air Jordan 1 “Yellow Toe” has been something of a myth with customizers crafting their own takes in anticipation. Though it has been quite quiet since the aforementioned’s debut back in 2018, it looks like we’ll actually be getting our hands on our own pairs… though, surprisingly, as a Mid. Black nubuck material hits make way across the overlaid panels, sitting adjacent to the sultry yellows and neutralizing white base. Wings logos are intact in their contrast finish while the heel is left pleasantly barren, though in typical mid-top fashion, the iconic Jumpman rests on the tongue tab.
