Air Jordan 3 “UNC” Without Tar Heel Logos Releases On March 7th, 2020

Air Jordan 3 “UNC” Without Tar Heel Logos Releases On March 7th, 2020

Originally a highly desirable PE that was at the center of a memorable UNC Football scandal in 2018, the Air Jordan 3 “UNC” is now set to release sans school logos in 2020. With a crisp color scheme that uses white leather, signature black/grey cement print on the heel/toe, and powder blue accents dispersed throughout the upper and midsole, the shoes nod to Michael Jordan’s beloved alma mater in both name and color scheme. The retail release pair will differ from the PE makeup pictured here however, as the large embroidered NC logo on the tongue will be replaced by more traditional branding, and the inner “UNC Basketball” tongue tag will be absent as well. Retailing for $190 USD, these collegiate AJ3s will release on March 7th, 2020, just ahead of the NCAA basketball tournament. Take a look at the PE iteration here to get a feel for the overall Tar Heel style, and stay tuned to our Jordan Release Dates page for info and updates on other upcoming Air Jordans in the meantime.
