The adidas Y-3 Yohji Court Has Arrived In Summer-Ready Triple White

The adidas Y-3 Yohji Court Has Arrived In Summer-Ready Triple White

Often standing right on the line between technical and casual, adidas Y-3 takes the timeless tennis staple, the Stan Smith, and translates it into Yohji Yamamoto’s own design language. Simplistic throughout and quite true to form — only upon first glance — the pair is a stripped down reimagining of the aforementioned as all overlays are completely removed for a kit smooth in its every stitch, or rather, the lack thereof. Toe boxes incorporate the rounded toe in a construction of smooth white leathers; eye stay outline in straight to zig-zag perforations while the loose outlines of a heel tab arrives debossed with the “Y-3” logo. Branding doesn’t end just there, however, as it emblazons on the tongue in boldfaced black and the leading designer’s signature dots across the profile in favor of the Three Stripes. Grab a detailed look at the pair right here and find it hitting select retailers on July 25th.
