The sacai x Nike Blazer Goes Colorless For Fall/Winter ’19

Chitose Abe and her wildly successful sacai x Nike collaborations have surely landed her at the doorstep of the sneaker hall of fame; with many enamored by the colorful first set of Blazer Mids, the Japanese designer has chosen to grow up the silhouette just a tad with a versatile assortment of neutral hues. Sitting next to a black variant of the same color blocking, the pair is largely untouched with paint throughout — only a Wolf Grey tone adds notable contrast atop the underlying layers of its doubled motif. Eye stays, swooshes, and parts of the heel swap in and out along a black and white spectrum with the majority of the smooth leather constructions sticking to the latter’s extreme. Exposed foam adds a tinge of yellow in deconstructive form with — though not shown here — a fur ornament readily attachable to the lacing unit if seen fit. Grab a quick look at the all white iteration right below and expect to find it hitting select retailers as well as Nike.com some time in Fall 2019.

Updated September 16th, 2019: According to retailer Dover Street Market, the sacai x Nike Blazer release has been postponed to October 10th.
