Pharrell’s adidas Crazy BYW X Returns With Six New “Gratitude” Colorways

Pharrell Williams is a polymath in the truest sense of the word, and the adidas Crazy BYW X is fluid in its own right, combining basketball style with casual flair. Therefore, it only makes sense that adidas Originals would let Skateboard P work his magic on their recognizable piece of high-top lifestyle/performance footwear multiple times over, and the latest effort from the two longtime partners is this six-shoe “Gratitude” collection. The styles available run the gamut of the color wheel, ranging from vibrant to subtle. If you like loud, there’s a punchy orange, a vivid yellow, and a bright pink. If you’d prefer something a little more toned-down, there’s an airy grey, a crisp green, and an elegant black. Each pair presents a tonal upper constructed of different meshes and synthetics, with a white “Gratitude” hit running down the throat tab in bold block letters. Each also offers a thick chunk of visible white Boost cushioning in the heel plus more Boost in the forefoot that’s encased in a tonal shell — save for the black pair, which opts for a classic gum hue up front for the sake of extra contrast.
