However, that “extended” hiatus is set to come to an end this November, as the 500 will hit retailers in a seasonally-appropriate “Stone” colorway. New material is the most compelling feature here, as the standard mesh base and tongue are replaced by a space-age neoprene — similar to the synthetic used on the Yeezy 500 High — for a makeup that seemingly switches the 500’s look from a sporty hybrid into a full-on high fashion silhouette. This bold bottom layer is then overlaid with familiar shaggy suede and supple leather accents, all of which are dressed in light tan/khaki hues. Cushioning is provided by a full-foot adiPRENE midsole, and a classic gum outsole finalizes the look.
