First Look At The adidas Yeezy 500 “Stone”

First Look At The adidas Yeezy 500 “Stone”

Although the adidas Yeezy line is releasing fresh new makeups on what’s essentially a weekly basis, we haven’t seen a Yeezy 500 since August’s “Bone White” colorway. However, that “extended” hiatus is set to come to an end this November, as the 500 will hit retailers in a seasonally-appropriate “Stone” colorway. New material is the most compelling feature here, as the standard mesh base and tongue are replaced by a space-age neoprene — similar to the synthetic used on the Yeezy 500 High — for a makeup that seemingly switches the 500’s look from a sporty hybrid into a full-on high fashion silhouette. This bold bottom layer is then overlaid with familiar shaggy suede and supple leather accents, all of which are dressed in light tan/khaki hues. Cushioning is provided by a full-foot adiPRENE midsole, and a classic gum outsole finalizes the look. As mentioned above, a release is slated for November, and these Yeezy shoes have been made in a full family size run, with men’s ($200 USD), kids ($130 USD) and infants ($100 USD) styles all set to be available. Get a detailed look directly below, and keep it locked here for info on a specific date of arrival/a store list as November draws closer.
