The Reebok Instapump Fury Adds Full Boost Soles In Unprecedented Crossover

article image

Despite being owned by the same umbrella corporation, adidas and Reebok have most often dealt on two opposite sides of the fence, catering to much of the same market though with little to no communication whatsoever. Breaking down barriers and effectively removing the borders between the vector and the Three Stripes, both are celebrating their union with the Instapump Fury Boost. Seen for the first time in full detail, the pair is almost exactly as we expected with the comfort tech seeing major use across the silhouette’s segmented sole unit. Outlining with its pebble-esque pattern, the uppers are almost entirely untouched save for a cobranded band wrapped at its base. Releasing in three parts — some more expansive than others — the first to set free into the public is the “Prototype,” which bears the scheme of Steven Smith’s production sample. The next, dubbed the “OG Meets OG,” is essentially a history lesson with both the focal model’s and the Ultra Boost’s OG palette appearing in homage. Lastly, the “Black & White” is catered to the fashionably monochrome, offering up neutral, versatile alternatives.

Grab a detailed look at this surprise partnership right here, and if you’re looking to grab your hands on any of the mentioned, then sit tight. The “Prototype” will be the first to release at atmosCon on October 5th in a limited 50-pair quantity; the “OG Meets OG” sees to a wider in the Asia Pacific come October 25th with a global roll out following on November 15th; and then then the “Black & White” drops last at outlets on December 6th.
