Nike Adds A Protective Exterior On The Women’s Air Force 1 Shell

One of Nike’s most influential silhouettes of all time, the Air Force 1 has received re-craftings both conceptual and practical at the hands of Swoosh Brand collaborative partners and in-house designers alike. Now, it’s been re-worked again in a fall-appropriate fashion, thanks to this new ladies only Air Force 1 Shell. Boasting a shape and overall look that’s still inherently Force, the Shell equips a high-cut synthetic upper with a toggle lacing system for easy adjustment and technical style. There’s a printed Swoosh on the lateral side and a embroidered ripstop badge on the medial side, while the insole is lined with sherpa fleece for cozy comfort in cold weather. Although the upper is all new, the bottom is all classic, thanks to a semi-translucent AF1 sole. It’s appeared in two new colorways — a tan and grey that’s almost Fear Of God-esque in its stylings and a black/grey that gives off an ACRONYM vibe — and will likely hit Nike.com later this season.
