Nike’s Day Of The Dead Pack For 2019 Arrives On October 25th

Nike’s Day Of The Dead Pack For 2019 Arrives On October 25th

A celebration of cultural holidays, Nike seems to have October on lock with Halloween releases aplenty and this year’s Dia De Los Muertos festivities already prepped with the Air Max 95, Cortez, and Air Force 1 dressing up in homage. Essentially a love letter to its wild prints and ornate altars, the entire pack seemingly lies in worship of La Catrina with each featuring a reflective all over print of the skeletal figure and sugar skulls in perpetuity. Each taking to one such tooling heavily distinct, the Air Force 1 acts as the lightest as it leans close to Triple White. Bases stay neutral for the most part except at its edge whose contrast strips take on yellow, blues, and pinks at different spots; swooshes outline in black with contrast continuing at the lining and heel tab, leaving the hidden yet bold graphic at each of the overlays. The Air Max 95 follows suit at its layers in striking gradient from light to dark with toe caps taking on a roughout texture in contrast. Seen prior to noteworthy applause, the low-top runner pairs dark suedes with stitching and edges of bright orange; the focal motif lies at the bright swoosh with some of the integral elements of the Day of the Dead itself. Grab a detailed look at both with and without the lights on and find them hitting Nike.com in both Mexico and the US on October 25th.
