Never lagging behind its own imagination, the Nike Air Max Tailwind IV may be the one silhouette we’ve seen the most of throughout 2019, the year that marked its timely revival and its momentous collaboration with streetwear institution Supreme. Now, through its own mainline offerings, the silhouette has been seeing toolings progressively more technicolor with its latest doing just that with the addition of tortoise shell patterns. Within its base layers of mesh, striking, almost acid-induced visuals lie in a digital mosaic of blues and pinks. Edged by piping of the same cool tone, the pair creates over separation with the other portion of the construction whose colors are not nearly as vibrant in due to its preference for dark blacks. Sole units as well as the synthetic down the center line all stay mostly bland with overlays at the profile doubling intrigue through the aforementioned print in shades of warping grey.
