Transformers Gives Robotic Upgrades To The ASICS GEL-Lyte V

Transformers Gives Robotic Upgrades To The ASICS GEL-Lyte V

Shortly after partnering with Capcom’s very own Rockman (aka Megaman), ASICS looks to continue their joint projects in the animation space by now turning their heads towards the world of Cybertron for this upcoming collaboration with Transformers. Bringing action-packed details atop the classic GEL-Lyte V silhouette, the runner is constructed with a muted charcoal grey hue applied towards the entire upper, which opens up the gates for its robotic features to soak up the spotlight. Detachable shrouds placed over the laces and heels allow you to choose between good and evil, arriving in red, blue, and yellow Autobot options as a nod to Optimus Prime and Bumblebee, in addition to a grey set included in the packaging that features the logo of the Decepticons. Futhermore, extra animated graphics are laid in all-over fashion across the insoles to round off its motif. A detailed look is available here ahead, and note that these are now available for pre-order on BILLY’s Tokyo’s web store for ¥14,300.
