Michael Le Originally born in 1999, the Vans Rowley Pro — named after the icon of the same name — is finally reaching its 20th birthday, and though it can’t quite yet drink legally, the pair is joining up with the skater himself and collector pillowHeat for an extremely limited run. Inspired by heritage prints and colorways, the pair lies in homage of the retro two-toned offerings once rampant; hits of blue and red dress up the panelling of the upper in a mix of suede and leather while more neutral grey accents arrive sparingly across the tongue and the edges of the outward panelling. Laces, left white, match the colorless presentation of the sole unit, though its inclusion of the Anaheim brand’s signature checkerboard throw firmly plants it out of the ordinary.
