For this friends-and-family affair, the team at ACU – the first shoe boutique ever opened in the city – applied traditional graphic themes of the crane, tiger, and koi, blending the three creatures onto an abstract pattern across the upper in alternate color-blocking. Further accentuating the deliberate mix-and-match theme is a reflective base, while a translucent outsole reveals the shop’s signature logo on the footbed. Each of the 100 pairs come packaged in a custom shoe-box with an elegant red wrap and gilded illustrations of the three animals.
