ASICS Is Bringing Back The OG Red Colorway Of The GEL-Lyte III

In the midst of the silhouette’s 30th anniversary, the ASICS GEL-Lyte III has been making some interesting headlines as of late, emerging more images of its forthcoming collaboration with Sean Wotherspoon and atmos, in addition to reports of a collaboration with Kiko Kostadinov said to be in the works. And after releasing in its OG “Citrus” makeover last week, the 1989 street-style favorite is gearing up for another re-issue of one of its iconic colorways in this three-toned palette. Engineered with a combination of suede and leather overlays that enclose its synthetic base contrasted mostly in white and black, these runners get charged up with a generous portion of vibrant energy thanks to the cherry red hues treated towards the laces, sock liners, outsoles, and logo taping to contribute to its retro-inspired look. Expect these to drop at select ASICS retailers like SNS on January 1st, 2020 for €119.95 (approximately $133.21 USD) with a wider European release on January 3rd.
