The Air Jordan 1 Mid SE For Women Ushers In Another Multi-Colored Palette

The Air Jordan 1 Mid SE For Women Ushers In Another Multi-Colored Palette

While much fanfare surrounding the Air Jordan 1 has been for its high-top version, its mid-cut counterpart has gradually commanded more of the spotlight over the past two years – perhaps best demonstrated by last season’s “Fearless Ones” collection. Already slated to release in both understated and outlandish outfits later this year, a recently teased Air Jordan 1 Mid for women adds another tally to the silhouette’s experimental catalog with multi-color-blocking reminiscent of Melody Ehsani‘s AJ1. The plain off-white midsole/black outsole combination set the stage for the mishmash of neon, purple, and orange that take over key real estate like the mudguard, eyestays, and ankle panel, respectively. As if the color palette wasn’t animated enough as is, yellow hues are thrown into the mix at the heel and tongue, while a vibrant blue decorates the lacing structure wedged right at the midfoot in a patent-leather finish. Profile Swooshes also keep things interesting as they also get the glossy treatment and are held down by red zig-zag stitching. Similar to Ehsani’s take, some semblance of order appears at the toe box and midfoot done in white leather.

No release date has yet been confirmed, but this pair is rumored to drop during the warmer months. Grab a quick look at this women’s pair here below and head on over to our Jordan Release Dates calendar to stay up-to-date with JB’s other plans for 2020.
