Tribal Patterns Appear On The adidas Harden Vol. 4

adidas Hoops — just as their skateboarding division — has slowly but surely continued to grow, with notable athletes tagging along and releases arriving throughout the better part of the last few months and now the early beginnings of 2020. As such, James Harden and his eponymous Harden Vol. 4 are finally seeing their first pair of the new decade, bringing to light a mostly black kit adorned with colorful patterns of what looks to be a tribal print. Maximally done though still with blank space where it needs to be, the pair refrains from being too much: soles are darkened down; webbing, eyestays, and linings do the same via grey shade; and then purple treads forego a vibrant touch so as not to stand out. Laces, however, do that in spades through a fluorescent blue, grabbing from the graphic touch at the upper for a strong finish that may possibly play a part in the Three Stripes’ Black History Month celebrations.
