Raised By Wolves Links Up With Saucony For An AYA Collaboration With Hidden Stash Pocket

After first dabbling into sneaker collaborations back in 2017 for a GORE-TEX-infused Reebok Classic Leather capsule, as well as a hiking-inspired collection with Timberland in 2018, streetwear imprint Raised By Wolves is inserting themselves back into the world of kicks for a project with Saucony. Opting to utilize the AYA from 1994 as their silhouette of choice, the two parties come together to manufacture this updated rendition with a mostly monochromatic look. A majority of its body comes wrapped in a concrete-esque hue, sporting subtle deviations lying within its multiple textures of leather, suede, and mesh, in addition to the speckled detailing splattered along its midsole. However, the spirit of these newly designed runners arrives from its colored accents as the interiors sport a vibrant burst of color between its red and orange hues, in addition to concealing a hidden stash pocket just inside the tongue – a feature occasionally found on 90s skateboarding shoes which served as the basis of inspiration for this collaboration. Branded hits are also brought into play with the moniker of the shoe embroidered onto the tongues, followed by a reflective heel hit of the Canada-based brand. These will be dropping on the Raised By Wolves online stores tonight at midnight, followed by a wider release at select global retailers on January 25th for $130.
