The Air Jordan 9 Retro “Racer Blue” Is Available Now

If you were fortunate enough to witness Michael Jordan during his prime days on the hardwood or have simply indulged into his endless list of highlight reels, there’s one thing to take away, and it’s the fact that the NBA Hall of Famer was born to stand out. From his crossover moves to his high-flying dunks, #23 was simply built different, and has left his mark on the game as the greatest to ever do it. And now, Beaverton is ready to bring back his Air Jordan 9 Retro silhouette, this time in a colorway that’s just as flashy as his game. The high-profile model opts to go with a much darker toned color scheme from the last “Gym Red” rendition that hit stores last year, and instead outfits its newest iteration in a buttery black suede upper. Seated next to its primary constructions are 3M-infused overlays placed along the mudguards and ankles which, after being hit with a camera flash or nightfall, radiate with a multi-colored shimmer. Moreover, the branded hits including the heel stamps and lateral Jumpman logos are colored up with a royal finish. Grab a closer look here below, and find these now on Nike.com and at select retailers for $190.
