Michael Le A current day history lesson on brands oft-overlooked or possibly forgotten, Reebok’s latest team up with BBC Ice Cream has left a nostalgic impression on their modern day line-up, turning silhouettes into imaginative displays of print and color in a fashion that is unequivocally of the streetwear label’s DNA. And though Pharrell is still undyingly loyal to the Three Stripes, the founder’s eclectic style breathes new life into pairs such as this Answer V, who will be showing up at this year’s All-Star Weekend festivities. Pink steers the colorway, almost entirely, with accenting red leathers cutting it close to the likeness of a Valentine’s Day scheme. Warm-tinged gum bottoms sit relatively subtle along the entire tread with a much brighter yellow taking a backseat as well though along the lining and the topmost eye stay. Burgundy panels surround the lateral heel’s branded emblem, a piece that marks with the personified ice cream cone logo.
