The New Balance 997 Made In USA Gets Minty Green Suede Uppers

Never not working, New Balance has already followed up its impressive 2019 with special releases, both in-line and collaborative, in the first month of the new decade alone. And with next week’s release of the “No Emotions Are Emotions” Collection, as well as Fall’s retail debut of the new 327 silhouette, the Boston-based brand seems poised to have another impressive year. Included in the mix are countless general releases of NB’s most iconic lifestyle models like the 997, seen here in mint green. Reminiscent of Concepts‘ Statue of Liberty design from 2016, the “Made In USA” pair sports the varying shades of the fresh hue across its upper, which features a blend of premium suede and pebbled leather. Elsewhere on the top halves, panels near the collar and heel receive a contrasting off-cream arrangement. Profile “N” logos are done in grey, whereas other New Balance branding on the tongue and heel favor a clean white look. Following suit, laces and ENCAP sole unit round out this Spring-ready ensemble in white.

If you’re interested in grabbing this New Balance 997, pairs are available now at select retailers for $260 USD.
