The Nike Air Max 2 Light Adds A 90s Friendly Teal And Volt Pairing

The Nike Air Max 2 Light Adds A 90s Friendly Teal And Volt Pairing

After seeing its very first retro release in January of last year, Nike’s Air Max 2 Light made certain that it was going to be in the Sportswear spotlight by flooding the market with a wide array of color combinations. Until late Fall 2019, the amount of releases started to slowly taper off, giving the Swoosh’s modern-day silhouettes such as the Air Max 270 React to get their own time to shine. However, given that a few months have passed, it feels a return would be appropriate, and its latest rendition arrives by way of this clean four-toned colorway. Most of its body is presented in a pure white hue, but is color-blocked most noticeably through its teal overlays that sprawl from the forefoot to the mid-foot. Swoosh logos keep things low key by getting executed in stark black, while more neon-focused accents providing more vivid spirit atop the sock liners and heel Air Max bubbles that contribute to its throwback personality reminiscent of palettes Andre Agassi would rock in his heyday on the tennis courts. See a closer look here below, and note that while these are now available in select retailers overseas, a stateside release is likely to happen on Nike.com soon.
