Nike Adds Neon Green And Pink On The Air Max 98

From Supreme collaborations to anime homages, the Air Max 98 has seen a wealth of different takes even during the constantly celebrated birthday of its older sibling, the Air Max 90. Anniversaries aside, the 98 is still getting just a bit of attention from the fathering Nike, who has given the model vintage surgery with corduroy transplants or strong florals in obvious nod to Valentine’s Day. Its latest outfit, however, foregoes many of these overt themes to instead display a strong tonal range of neons. The uppers, while mostly constructed of monochrome paneling, leads accents into loud volts or hot pinks. The latter sees to the embroidered check, the piping around the circumference of entire silhouette, and even the paneling stitched unto the vamp while the its green alternate leads at the radial lines along the mesh base and even the inner supports of the see-through air bubble.
