The not-so-lighthearted fun of All-Star Weekend is behind us, which means the final stretch of the 82-game campaign is underway, but for the league’s top stars, it’s the “second season” that matters the most. Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks are on pace to own home court advantage throughout the entire postseason, and they’re hoping to tip off the first two games of the Finals at the Fiserv Forum. That is, of course, the Greek Freak can lead his team through the proven squads in the East, because the Raptors, Celtics, Heat, and Sixers were far from slouches. Dropping in the middle of next month is a clean white/black colorway of the Zoom Freak 1, and it appears that Nike Basketball’s other signature shoes are being prepared in similar white/black treatment; this suggests a possible no-nonsense approach as the more important games of the season arrive.
