If you peep a look at some of New Balance’s most recent sneaker renditions, you can definitely feel that the Boston-based imprint is aching to get the days of warmer weather as many of their models have depended on Spring-ready color schemes. From the 850 “Tahitian Pink” to Kawhi Leonard’s “Sundown” Pack to Aimé Leon Dore’s forthcoming 827 Abzorb capsule, each carry their own forms beach-appropriate palettes. The latest to get a similar outfit is this brand new edition of the 997S. The “Multi-Color” treatment arrives heavily throughout the base layers as a dichotomy of warm and cool tones are utilized. Sunshine yellows and oranges don the toe box meshes, while cooler royal blues overlay the sock liners and “N” logos and retro greens employ the tongues/rear paneling.
