The Converse Pro Leather Ox To Feature Oversized Chevrons In Chenille

feature image

While classic in its own right, Converse‘s Pro Leather model has been overshadowed by its Chuck Taylor counterpart. Yet, the basketball icon’s Oxford (read: low-top), or Ox, edition proffers a rival lifestyle option. And its latest is fit for Spring given its neutral color scheme and chenille detailing.

Akin to releases for NBA All-Star Weekend 2020, uppers on the Pro Leather Ox are tonal in either “White” or “Black.” Latter pairs, however, subtly interrupt the arrangement via their midfoot stitching. “PRO LEATHER” text on the lateral side is printed instead of debossed, but still capture the silhouette’s signature look. As aforementioned, chenille across the profile chevron logos add Spring-ready flair to the ’70s classic, though it’s most apparent on the “White” pair’s teal and purple composition. The accompanying monochromatic option dons dull grey sidewall logos, but its heel overlay features a much-welcomed metallic shimmer.

Grab a look at these two pairs of the Converse Pro Leather Ox here below and grab yours at SNS.com come April 9th.

Elsewhere under the One Star Brand umbrella, the Converse G4 is set to arrive later this year.
