Though originally introduced as one small part to the AM90‘s anniversary celebrations, the Nike Air Max 2090 is undoubtedly here to stay as it continues to proffer a wide range of different colorways. Most, as is appropriate to its forward thinking shape, draw from the future with neons and pristine, nearly metallic-like neutrals — its inaugural pair the most definitive of this very approach. And after taking a detour towards heritage with a Duck Camo makeover, the model is back on track in Aurora Green, outfitting much of its synthetic panels with a polish of white. Leather mudguards, toolings, and attached molds all bear the same bright shade, leaving room for the titular shade to stand apart at the scattered half-drawn “air” logos, the contrast stitch, and the barely revealed wash at the tongue. With heel pulls and adjacent insignia following suit, the silhouette is set to see this scheme on Nike.com likely within the coming months.
In other news, the Air Max 90 Galaxy is heading to space very soon.
