The Converse Chuck 70 “Twisted Prep” Upholstered With Madras

The Converse Chuck 70 “Twisted Prep” Upholstered With Madras

Always looking to give its classics a fresh update, Converse has recently added plaid, jacquard woven madras patterns to a Chuck 70 Hi duo as part of its “Twisted Prep” Pack.

While related in nickname and parent company, this two-pack bears no resemblance to “Twisted Prep” iterations of the Nike Dunk Low, Air Trainer 1 and Blazer Mid from 2003. Instead of drab grey and slight green flair, each high-top Chuck 70 goes bold with its woven upper. Both blue and black pairs boast classic details like metal hardware, “Egret” sole units and standard license plates. Spines and medial branding work in tandem to deliver more luxe accents to the pair, with the latter featuring a cutout star and debossed text. As with most modern-day version of the iconic silhouette, OrthoLite cushioning ensures long-lasting comfort.

Enjoy a detailed look at the Chuck 70 “Twisted Prep” Pack here below. And find pairs available right now at select stockists.
