Since launching with the help of Casablanca, the New Balance 327 has split its time between collaborations and general releases. The latter, which boasts an equally impressive roster to the new silhouette’s joint efforts, adds another vibrant option to its growing catalog.
Nearly identical to medial sides on a previous 327, as well as the original SuperComp, uppers on this iteration of the ’70s-inspired model feature shades of orange throughout their nylon and suede construction. “N” logos on the lateral walls forgo any of their surroundings’ eye-catching color scheme, though their exaggerated size are undeniably of note. Yellow overlays at the heel deviate from the aforementioned palette, but further contribute to the pair’s vibrant arrangement. Underfoot, sole units are kept simple in both color composition and tech specs – especially when compared with models like the New Balance 992 – with their respective white/gum brown and EVA foam/rubber makeups.
New Balance‘s 327 has already dropped at select European retailers, but may still have a wider NewBalance.com release in the works. In the meantime, enjoy a closer look at the pair here below.
