Michael Le While most have paid attention to the Zoom Spiridon Cage 2 for its Stussy collaborations, the silhouette has expanded a great deal from its original general releases — starting simple with the OGs to then evolve into something far more interesting. And while the streetwear imprint has a few more planned for the near future, it looks like we’ll first be seeing to the silhouette’s “Welcome to the World” colorway, a wild mix of different materials that highlights its panels with equally varied color blocking. Neutrals dress the mesh toe box and tongue while slightly darker greys hue the suede details nearby, creating a soft open for the pastel blue and pinks that dye the profile and heel, respectively. Mustard yellows stand apart at the heel counter, rounding off the more colorful side of the palette. This multi-colored Nike Zoom Spiridon Cage 2 is a collaboration with size? that nods to the vibrant history of Carnaby Street in London. The “Welcomes The World” text on the heel is a direct ode to a sign that was installed on Carnaby Street in 1973.
