Throughout KITH‘s ever-extensive collaborative history, the brand has only ever teamed up with Vans in seldom. Though well-stocked in nearly every one of KITH’s retail locations, the Anaheim imprint only had the pleasure of catching Ronnie Fieg with Japanese stalwarts Mastermind in attendance. But now, as teased via the KITH Summer 2020 lookbook, it looks like we’re finally seeing the iconic Slip-On clad in the streetwear imprint’s veritably recognizable box logo.
Tucked away along the insole, the branding is — for once — put in a more secondary role. Instead, the two revealed colorways make use of a loud, seasonally appropriate all-over Moroccan tile graphic that mirrors the motifs seen on adjacent camp collar shirting and coaches jackets. Red leads the palettes of one, dyeing many of the more apparent blocks and flourishes in the same shade. A light blue, which matches the aforementioned iconography hidden internally, then rounds off along the decal lines. In departure, the accompanying pair effectively acts as a complete inverse for a similar though distinct side to the same ornate coin.
Grab a detailed look at both right here and expect a release to arrive at KITH possibly on June 27th. If that changes or if delays take place, expect to find more info right here as it surfaces.
