The last full week of June brought some exciting news to sneaker enthusiasts, especially in regards to NIKE, Inc.
A raffle for the Jordan 1 duo included in the upcoming Air Dior collection went live on Thursday morning; sign-ups closed later that day. A handful of Jordans emerged for the first time, including another Jordan 3, Jordan 12, and even the brand-new Jordan Zoom 92, which draws inspiration from the Jordan 7. Elsewhere, NIKE, Inc. delivered official looks of the Air Zoom BB NXT initially scheduled to debut at the Tokyo Olympics; Kobe 5 Protro and KD 13 for the Elite Youth Basketball League; and the summer-ready Kyrie Low 3. Furthermore, two pairs of the Nike Dunk High were rumored to launch in Fall 2020 and beyond, signaling that the interest in Dunks is alive and well.
Away from any Swoosh and Jumpman logos, Reebok teamed up with notables in the fashion space for an array of footwear projects. Pyer Moss has committed a portion of the proceeds from its next drop to Innocence Project, an organization dedicated to freeing “innocent people from prison and prevent[ing] wrongful convictions.” ASICS also continued celebrating its GEL-Lyte III‘s 30th anniversary with two eye-catching options – one borrowing a beloved atmos color palette.
