sacai And Nike To Release A Blazer Low In Spring 2021

Though long a part of the Nike collaborative family, sacai has only recently begun to receive the applause it deserves — something for which Chitose Abe owes the LDWaffle credit. And as her mainline collection continues to navigate visual absurdity, so, too, has her upcoming projects, each seemingly playing off the one previous. But as revealed today, it looks like the Japanese designer is also poised to provide a much simpler complement later this Spring, ushering in what is effectively a low-top interpretation of the previously released Blazer Mid. Near identical save for height, the pair checks nearly all the same multiplied boxes: swooshes, laces, and heel tabs arriving in twos as a result. The tooling, however, is somewhat distinct as it effectively stacks units in a vein similar to the adjacent runners. Expect two colorways to arrive later next season, one delivering grey uppers with green accents and the other white with orange. View the Blazer Low mock-ups below, and sit tight as more information will be available closer to the end of the year.

In other news, the Nike ISPA Overreact Sandal releases July 31st.
