Nike D/MS/X Adds An Experimental Twist To The Sting

Nike D/MS/X Adds An Experimental Twist To The Sting

The output from Swoosh’s conceptual D/MS/X sub-label has been finding itself appearing more often throughout these last few weeks of Summer as they’ve reimagined their own Air Force 1 React with new overlays and pushed the tempo of their React Vision with more colorways. Riding of the wave of this garnered impetus, they’re now taking the time to introduce a whole new silhouette entitled the Nike D/MS/X Sting, which is essentially a modernized take on the classic Sting silhouette that originally dropped in 1978.

Sitting with a low-profile construction, its uppers are split into two parts with the rear seeing through to a ripstop fabric, while the forefoot shrouds with buttery suedes. Down below is where its futuristic essence comes into play as chunky sole piece arrive divided at the middle, and they are layered with a mold that runs the a majority of its midsole before sharply turning at a downward angle. One of its introductory colorways is one of more vibrant allure as its uppers divvy up between “Starfish” and “Pine Green” tones reminiscent of Miami Hurricane colors, while the bottoms unify blue trimming, natural white mid-sections, and gum waffle finishes. A gallery of official images is available here, so peep a closer look while you wait on their Nike.com drop likely coming this Fall.
