Nike Blazer Mid ’77 Appears In Kid-Exclusive “Gym Red”

Nike Blazer Mid ’77 Appears In Kid-Exclusive “Gym Red”

The ever-versatile Nike Blazer Mid 77 is following up odes to Coney Island’s basketball heritage and video game culture with a simple, but impressive “Gym Red” option exclusive to kids.

As with most iterations of the Blazer model, the newly-launched scarlet option is predominantly clad in a two-tone arrangement. The titular hue takes over the shoe’s entire suede construction, including reinforcement on the lateral forefoot. Profile Swooshes and heel overlays interrupt the tonal scheme with not only their “White” composition, but also smooth leather build. Vintage-reminiscent nylon tongues also indulge in the colorless palette, but boast “Total Orange” branding as with iconic Nike products from decades ago. Underfoot, the kid’s Blazer Mid further appeals to a vintage aesthetic with its slightly-yellowed sole unit.

Elsewhere under The Swoosh umbrella, the Air Force 1 has recently appeared in a colorway inspired by plastic bags.
