The adidas A-ZX Series Taps Hey Tea For A Collaborative ZX 6000

Replete of 26 commemorative releases, adidas‘ latest initiative brings the return of the ever-eventful A-ZX series, a collection that encompasses not only noteworthy retros but a plethora of collaborations with notable imprints industry-wide. The newest issue to reveal, which takes the spot of “Ht” on the brand’s created alphabet, taps the Chinese tea chain Hey Tea for a collaborative ZX 6000 ostensibly designed for the sweet toothed.

Though finished with their simple, toon-styled logo at the tongue, the pair delivers a colorway relatively minimal in its nods to the beverage maven’s product line. White, almost pink-tinted synthetic wraps the tongue and mid-panel, accented with more saturated variations only adjacent; hits of darker purple then dresses the toe box, forward tooling, and lining, finishing what is effectively a gradient that may reference the transition from concentrate to milk tea. Elsewhere, the sole unit is patterned atop with drip-like print while the heel tab further celebrates with blocked cheese — an homage to one of the many Hey Tea signatures.

Grab a detailed look at these here and expect a release to arrive at adidas.com hopefully within the coming months.
