The Air Jordan 9 PE For This Year’s Cancelled Jordan Brand Classic Emerges

The Air Jordan 9 PE For This Year’s Cancelled Jordan Brand Classic Emerges

Since 2002, the Jordan Brand Classic has been a proving grounds for some of the nation’s best basketball players. Despite a Covid-19-related cancellation this year, the scheduled-for-March event has recently delivered an unofficial look at a Player-Exclusive (PE) Air Jordan 9 that had been prepped for it.

White smooth and patent leather set the stage for vibrant accents all-throughout, with the later material overlaid across the mudguard and heel-to-ankle. Iridescent hardware lines both sides of the tongue, falling shy of the pink “AIR JORDAN” branding at the top. The fluorescent rose hue also animates the model’s heel pull tab, embroidered “23” right below it, and Jumpman logos on the insole and sole unit. Following the eye-stay’s lead, midsole tooling on the 27-year-old-design boasts more iridescent flair. By comparison, a Jordan 9 Low for 2016’s future-star-studded event kept a rather tonal arrangement with grey-scale camouflage patterns on the outsole.

Enjoy a closer look at the Jordan 9 PE “Jordan Brand Classic” here below, and try your luck on eBay for a pair.

For Jordans you can find at retailers, the Jordan 1 Lucky Green is slated to launch on October 11th.
