This time around, the Nike design team has reimagined the silhouette into a new pastel-heavy colorway and theme that speaks to the idea of Air — the Swoosh’s innovational cushioning unit — in a playful way.
If you take a gander at the forefoot, you’ll notice that there’s a digitalized airplane icon that is sandwiched between the words “Nike” and “Air”, which in essence expresses that this is a travel-inspired makeup. Additionally, its primary accents mix between bright pink sole pieces, and gradient mudguards comprised of soft blues and oranges, which can be interpreted as the dusty hues seen in the skies at from the airplane window seat moments before landing in on a red eye flight.
