Prada And adidas To Release Another Round Of Luxury Superstars

Prada And adidas To Release Another Round Of Luxury Superstars

After an eventful debut, Prada is linking up with adidas once again later next week, offering up their luxury-tinged Superstars without the specially made handbag. And while already more accessible as a result, the pack also delivers a small handful of new colorways, reiterating on its predecessor in palettes reminiscent of existing mainstays.

But what’s unique about the partnership is not the colors; rather, each of the three options distinguish themselves through construction alone. The silhouette, which has aged well since its debut in 1969, is simply upgraded material-wise, all pairs benefiting from the expertise of Prada’s many footwear specialists. Fixtures such as the Three Stripes along the side, the ever-classic shell toe, and the leather fabrication around are all Made in Italy as is the fashion house’s signature. Their upper’s polish, which is the result of a full-grain base, is then stamped atop with minimal dual branding at the tongue, heel tab, and counter. Expect to see a traditional White with black accents, a full triple black, and a standout chrome silver.

Grab a detailed look at the capsule below, and if you’re hoping to grab a set, they’ll be available at Prada boutiques, adidas.com, and select wholesalers on September 8th.

In other news, the Yeezy Quantum is expected to return later this month.
