Jovani Hernandez In addition to its long-delayed Prada collaboration, the adidas Superstar has dressed up in dozens of notable in-line ensembles throughout 2020. Its latest duo celebrates inclusivity through a fusion of color across branding.
Clad in either “Cloud White” or “Core Black”, both pairs of the shell-toe feature a full-leather construction. The latter, however, boasts perforated profile 3-Stripes. Blue, red, and green take over an individual stripe on both Superstars‘ lateral sides; cyan, pink, and yellow animate the medial side. Elsewhere, 3D-trefoil logos on the tongue and lateral heel indulge in all six hues as a nod to togetherness; “adidas” text on the tongue follows suit. Underfoot, sole units keep their tried-and-tested “Cloud White” arrangement, which debuted 50 years ago.
