Even though Pharrell has produced a number of collaborative releases with adidas, the artist can’t quite shed the influence of what effectively started it all: the NMD Hu. And now, as teased alongside Quavo, the silhouette is prepared to re-release in a collection’s worth of colorways — a set that is inclusive of this yellow monochrome whose lettering replaces the oft-used motifs for a Hindi dialect.

An essential return to form, the pair follows two other colorways, all only distinct in their use of language and color. Objectively, the yellow pair seen here is the most bold, the bright tone dyeing nearly every element of the core construction. Cages along the side match that of the molds below as well as the hued finish of the BOOST, while the same can be said for the rest of the knit upper as well as its applied embroideries and laces. Linings, in departure, contrast through a dark swathe of black, outlining the ankle adjacent to the aforementioned as well as the branded leather heel tab.

Grab a detailed look at these here and expect a release to arrive in the coming months on adidas.com.
