Michael Le United Arrows and their Beauty & Youth division have released a number of New Balance exclusives in the past year, most imbued with their natural sense for minimalism. But, as a fitting display for the silhouette, the brand is leaning more into brighter earth tones as they treat the recently imagined RC205 to two premium colorways.
Though objectively similar in color story, the pairs quickly begin to distinguish themselves in construction: one favors the more textural angle of suede, the other supports itself through robust leathers, and yet both craft an identical foundation replete with natural canvas. Accents layered atop continue to further set the duo apart, as the beige option provides a monochromatic visage in contrast to the brown alternate’s darker, more saturated polish. And while the midsole and laces are a match in their white shading, the latter presents further luxury as it wraps the heel embroidery and aglets in in gold.
