The Air Jordan 4 Golf “Military Blue” Expected August 2021

The Air Jordan 4 Golf “Military Blue” Expected August 2021

The last time “Military Blue” landed on the Air Jordan 4 was via the “What The” iteration from November 2019. Since then, enthusiasts have been eager to see the ’89 silhouette don the original colorway again. And while Tinker Hatfield’s design is rumored to dress up in the rich blue hue for 2021, it’s in a modified-for-golf iteration.

Recent golf-versions of the Nike Air Max 97 and Jordan 5 demonstrate that there’s a demand for tweaked running and basketball models, even if fans can’t wear them off the course. An initial mock-up of next year’s retro depicts the silhouette in all its original glory: the titular hue takes over the tongue and profile underlays, as well as hardware, tongue branding and lining, heels and midsole tooling. As aforementioned, the performance-basketball tread is replaced with a cleat configuration perfect for golf; the final product may reveal some “Military Blue” detailing throughout the outsole, which would further nod to the pair’s original arrangement.

Stay tuned for more details as the golf cleats’ rumored August 2021 emerges. And for more Jordans, enjoy a detailed look at the League of Legends Jordan 1 likely to launch by October 31st.
