Throughout all of the Nike Air Force 1‘s many transformations, it’s women’s exclusives are by far the most eccentric as they often recontextualize the iconic silhouette’s original construction with patchworked elements, off-kilter placements, and much more.
The Air Force 1 LXX, for example, achieves just that as its profile Swoosh is split apart along the upper’s seams, providing a look that appears glitched at first glance. Here, with its latest colorway, the model is bridging ordinary Triple White palettes with mismatched accents of both pink and blue — the latter dresses the check along the outside of one foot and the medial on the other, while the former complements directly opposite with heel tabs behind alternating in a similar fashion. Smooth leathers then construct adjacent bereft of color, giving foothold for the displayed size tag and flipped eye stay paneling.
